Tim Davey leads Timmons Group’s Economic Development efforts. He manages high-profile projects and specializes in Community Planning, Urban Revitalization, Manufacturing, and Economic Development. Tim manages high profile projects providing site selection, creative financing, grant consulting, urban, mixed-use, and industrial engineering expertise. He is particularly effective at leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects.
Tim is a graduate of LEAD Virginia (2006) and Leadership Metro Richmond (2003), where he received its 2004 Servant Leader Award. Tim was named ULI Richmond’s 2013 Member of the Year after Co-Chairing “Reality Check”, a collaborative planning, “Gameday” event for the greater Richmond area. He is President of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate and a Founding member of the Logistics Task Force for Richmond’s Future. Tim also traveled to China to assist in the recruitment of a major advanced manufacturing facility to Chesterfield County, Virginia.
Tim lives in Bon Air, in an 1882 Victorian listed on Virginia’s Register for Historic Places, with his wife, Lisa, and their four children, Michael, Rachel, Ragen, and Cristofer. An avid golfer, Tim is also a marathon runner and triathlon competitor. He particularly enjoys traveling all over the world to interesting and educational places with his family.
