
Tim Davey leads Timmons Group’s Economic Development efforts. He manages high-profile projects and specializes in Community Planning, Urban Revitalization, Advanced Manufacturing, Mission Critical and Economic Development. Tim manages high profile projects providing site selection, master planning, creative financing, urban, mixed-use, and industrial engineering expertise. He is particularly effective at leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex, fast-moving projects and has done so throughout the Mid-Atlantic States for almost 40 years.
Tim is a graduate of LEAD Virginia (2006) and Leadership Metro Richmond (2003), where he received its 2004 Servant Leader Award. Tim was named ULI Richmond’s 2013 Member of the Year. He is a Past President of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate and was honored with the GRACRE Achievement Award in 2022. Tim was a Founding member of the Logistics Task Force for Richmond’s Future, a founding Board member during the creation of Venture Richmond, and currently serves as a Board member. Tim also serves on the Board and Chairs the PLAN RVA Outreach Committee and is on the Executive Committee Member for the VCU Real Estate Foundation.
Tim lives in Bon Air, in an 1882 Victorian listed on Virginia’s Register for Historic Places, with his wife, Lisa, and travels extensively to spend time with his four children, Michael, Rachel, Ragen, and Cristofer. An avid golfer, Tim is also a marathon runner and triathlon competitor and proudly boasts there are now 6 Ironman competitors in his family which will likely grow to include more in the coming years including spouses.
