Rick is a Group Leader in our Raleigh office and specializes in private land development. Rick has nearly three decades of experience in retail, mixed-use, multi-family, office, hotel and commercial projects. His duties include supervision of all aspects of his team’s production including zoning entitlements, civil design and site plan approval, construction administration and project and program management.
Rick lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife Hilary in an old house that has been in his family for 80+ years. He enjoys traveling (especially to the coast of NC), snow skiing in the Rockies, cooking and live music.

- Favorite sports team? All NC State sports, Carolina Hurricanes
- What would your perfect Saturday be like? After a big breakfast, spend the day with friends and family on the beach in NC, and about mid-afternoon enjoy steamed oysters, shrimp, blue crabs and cold beer until the sun sets realizing you just may have found heaven.
- Something about you many people don’t know? I’m an “ordained minister” having performed one wedding for a close friend
- If you could start a charity, what would it be for? Elder care, and being an advocate for the elderly to help them navigate financial, legal and medical issues, for those that don’t have anyone to help them
