Matt leads the natural resources consulting section of the Environmental Services group in Richmond. He offers over 15 years’ worth of experience in environmental assessments, environmental regulations, wetlands delineation, and permitting. Matt has extensive experience in project scoping, scheduling, execution, and reporting for diverse projects state wide.
Matt maintains successful and effective relationships with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, and has provided services on over 30+ airports in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Maryland. Prior to his experience in environmental science, Matt was an officer in the United States Marine Corps, which he says has helped him in defining his leadership and project management style.
Matt lives in Midlothian with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Hannah and Patrick. During the summer, Matt and his family spend their time volunteering with an organization called Lighthouse Family Retreat that provides seaside vacations for families battling childhood cancer.

What is your dream vacation? Sorrento, Italy. It’s a small town on the bay of Naples that slopes down to the water. The hillside is covered in lemon trees, it would be beautiful to visit.
