Chris Kiefer specializes in Transportation and has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of transportation. He leads the Transportation Group that focuses on transportation planning, traffic engineering and roadway design. As the firm’s primary transportation consultant to both public and private clients, he is an expert regarding Virginia DOT (VDOT) guidelines and procedures. Chris has significant expertise in utility coordination, design-build projects, construction administration and projects with a myriad of different funding sources. Chris and his team have extensive experience in roundabout analysis and design and have worked a wide variety of projects in various situations (Interstate, Primary, Secondary and Local).
Chris manages excellent professional relationships with municipal and state government agencies. He has also served as an expert witness on dozens of court cases involving transportation issues.
Chris lives in Midlothian with his wife and high school sweetheart, Roxann, and four children, Charlie, Brich, Jack, and Caroline.
