Bruce has over a decade of comprehensive experience with water and wastewater systems. He has successfully managed teams for a multitude of projects, including new construction, rehabilitation, and replacement. Bruce’s ability to navigate complex projects through planning, design, and permitting challenges is mirrored by his dedication to managing construction activities through completion. As a Senior Project Manager in the Richmond Water Infrastructure Group, Bruce oversees the group’s workload and resources, maintains strong professional relationships, and works diligently with Clients and staff to achieve shared success. Bruce provides overall project management, subconsultant management, as well as peripheral services such as community engagement and public meeting facilitation.
Bruce is a Professional Engineer in multiple states and an Associate Design Build Institute of America (Assoc. DBIA) Professional. Bruce is active in professional organizations, formerly serving as Chair of the VWEA / VA-AWWA Young Professionals Committee.
Bruce lives in Midlothian, Virginia with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Julia and Bruce III. Outside of work and raising a family, Bruce enjoys kayak fishing, clay shooting, and completing home improvement projects.

Where were you born? Chesterfield County, Virginia
What was your first job? I started umpiring baseball games when I was about twelve or thirteen. My next job was a Courtesy Clerk at Ukrop’s.
What is your favorite Timmons Group project? It was a small project, but one of the most unique and rewarding was the Old Oaks Water Supply Project in Goochland County. We extended a water system to a community with private residential wells that were contaminated by a leaking underground petroleum storage tank.
Who is your hero? I don’t have one specific person that I necessarily idolize. I have had many mentors along the way and a lot of influential people in my life. I just try to take the best qualities of the folks that I’m around, learn from them, and try to better myself.

If you weren’t a civil engineer, what would you be? A professional bass angler
