Overview
The Westover Park project plans to enhance existing park features, improve access to recreational resources, and provide upgraded amenities for Westover Hills Elementary School, the Westover Hills community, and adjacent mixed-use developments.
A main entry plaza adjacent to the mixed-use development provides a grand tree-lined entry plaza that funnels visitors to new and existing amenities. Amenities include multi-purpose athletic fields, repurposed sports courts, a dog park, skate park, and multi-use trail. A new stormwater management system, including bio-retention areas, has been designed to mitigate current and future flooding. Additionally, parking has been added to accommodate the new amenities and provide overflow parking for the elementary school during the day.
