Overview
TTi, a global manufacturing company, began construction in 2015 of their new 1.3 million square-foot warehouse and manufacturing facility in Anderson County, SC. Developed by Red Rock Developments, the project, code-named Project Machine, will be an assembly and distribution center on the Betsy Tucker Industrial site near the Interstate 85 and S.C. Highway 81 Interchange.
Timmons Group played a large role in the design of the project by providing civil engineering and landscape architecture design services. The Timmons Group team developed the conceptual site and utility master plan for the property, as well as construction documents including a site layout and circulation plan, utility infrastructure plan, grading and stormwater management plan, and a landscape plan.
TTi’s brands include Dirt Devil, Homelite, Oreck, Milwaukee, Vax, Hoover, AEG, and Ryobi. A stronger demand in power tools and outdoor products throughout the United States has driven the need for the additional manufacturing and distribution space associated with Project Machine. The expansion is expected to enhance economic growth, and add over 200 jobs to the area within the next five years.
