Overview
Timmons Group provided surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture for The Landing at Silver Spring, a three-story, 42,000 square foot assisted living and memory care facility. 88 units will be dedicated for assisted living for elderly residents in need of assistance with the routines of their daily life, and 25 units of memory care for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other forms of memory loss. The building includes a community room, arts and crafts room, assembly area, large central kitchen, offices, dining areas, covered porches, and one interior court yard. The site is located near a commercial center that provides shopping areas, various smaller retail, medical services and other community services that are convenient and accessible.
Timmons Group assisted with the re-zoning application and developed constructiondocuments for permitting in Montgomery County. The design included hardscape, utilities, stormwater management, landscaping, and other site amenities.
