Overview
Timmons Group provided Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspections (SI) for three Thales Academy campuses in Wake County, supporting renovations and new construction. At the Cary campus, the team oversaw the conversion of a roller-skating rink into an elementary school, managing foundation replacement and reinforcing steel placement. At the Clayton campus, Timmons Group provided CMT and SI for a multi-story school building, including MSE walls, future expansion pads, asphalt parking, and utilities, ensuring foundation stability, materials compliance, and cost-effective solutions. At the Holly Springs campus, in addition to inspecting the foundation, the team provided pond construction, utility backfill, concrete, steel reinforcement, masonry, and asphalt repairs for a gymnasium addition and a new high school.
