Overview
Timmons Group has been a part of the Quarterpath at Williamsburg development project since its inception. Quarterpath is a 358-acre mixed-use development proposed by Riverside Healthcare Association and is located on the Quarterpath property at Route 199 and 60 across from the entrance to Kingsmill. The non-residential component of the development is the Doctors’ Hospital of Williamsburg, which will be designed to meet future medical and healthcare needs of the fast-growing Williamsburg area.
The residential component will include an age-restricted residential community with 300 homes, a 120-bed nursing home with 60 units of assisted living, 97 acres to be developed into residential communities with 95 single family homes, 95 townhouses, 465 condominium units, as well as neighborhood retail and destination retail.
Timmons Group also provided services on the improvements at the intersection of Quarterpath Road and Route 199. Quarterpath Crossing’s location on the newly widened Route 199 will provide easy accessibility from all directions. It will draw customers from the nearby interchanges with Interstate 64, Route 143, Route 60, the Colonial Parkway, Henry, and Jamestown Road.
Timmons Group provided ALTA surveys of multiple parcels of land; aerial topographic surveys; utility availability studies, as well as other public works projects at the site; preliminary design of public water and sanitary sewer systems, including pumping stations and water tanks; teamed with land planners on the design of major roads; teamed with land planners and environmental consultants on the preparation of natural resources plan; and prepared construction documents for water, sanitary sewer, and roads.
