Overview
Located within the existing Pouncey Tract Park in Glen Allen, Virginia, the phase three expansion added 12 new asphalt pickleball courts with acrylic surfacing to the existing park and courts. To match existing courts, the new pickleball courts are also illuminated with LED sports lighting.
Additionally, the project included a parking area expansion, improvements to existing park access, and an enhanced shaded pedestrian promenade. Two illuminated courts offer a larger “championship-style” setup with space for runout, bleachers, and two large year-round shade structures to protect the court, players, and spectators.
