Overview
Timmons Group completed an ASTM Standard E 2247-08 Phase I ESA of approximately 51 acres located in Orange County, Virginia to facilitate acquisition by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources (DHR) from a national retailer for establishment as preservation lands associated with the surrounding Wilderness Battlefield. Timmons Group coordinated report submittal through the Office of the Attorney General which provided review and comment. Following the clarification of potential environmental risks and liabilities associated with former and potentially historic improvements, the ESA was finalized which furthered the completion of property transfer to DHR.
