Overview
Timmons Group provided site analysis, including survey and environmental assessments, for two potential locations for the new Southeast Alamance High School. After the preferred site was selected, Timmons Group conducted surveying, underground utility location, and a traffic impact analysis. Site development efforts included a review of all available mapping information, a desktop wetland assessment, and the development of a conceptual layout. Surveying efforts encompassed a boundary survey, topographic mapping of existing conditions, utility mark-out at the SUE Level B location, and a recombination plat to consolidate three parcels into a single large parcel.
Following final site selection, Timmons Group performed a downstream sanitary sewer capacity assessment, designed off-site road improvements, and provided construction administration. The firm was responsible for all civil/site design, survey, SUE, environmental analysis, traffic analysis, and construction administration. The $67 million campus spans approximately 100 acres and serves 1,250 students.
