Overview
Completed in Spring 2009, Mountain Run Mitigation Site was developed as a full delivery multi project mitigation site including off-site stream and riparian restoration for Celebrate Virginia and for the development of a wetland mitigation site for The Nature Conservancy of Virginia. The historic 55 acres of along Mountain Run was converted from farm land into an ecologically enhanced riparian corridor, fully-functioning forested wetland and upland community to off-set jurisdictional area impacts within the watershed.
