Overview

Monticello High School is a 1,600 student public high school located in Albemarle County, Virginia. It is located on approximately 75 acres of land cut from a larger parcel owned by the County. Present on the site is a twelve acre pond that was retained for aesthetics, stormwater management and as a supply for the irrigation of the athletic fields. The site has a large number of general purpose, soccer size athletic fields with high after hours/community use. The building was constructed as an environmentally sustainable building with many advanced building systems.

The successful design and construction of this project required careful, constant coordination with the owner, architect, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers and the County of Albemarle.It is located on approximately 75 acres of land cut from a larger parcel owned by the County.
