Overview
Timmons Group conducted a confidential data center site selection study for the Invest Southern Virginia region served by Mid-Atlantic Broadband Communities Cooperative which included evaluating sites and critical infrastructure in 34 localities. We identified 65 sites that had a high probability of success for the data center market. These sites were vetted by key electrical service providers and utilities to validate the ability to deliver power, water and fiber to the sites. A number of these sites have been acquired for development purposes.
