Overview
Timmons Group provided civil/site engineering, landscape architecture and geotechnical and construction material testing (CMT) services for the new $70M apartment site consisting of seventeen 3-story buildings.
Geotechnical services included performing borings for the buildings and recommendations for site grading/building foundation support. Areas of unsuitable fill were encountered during the design phase and our recommendations addressed the removal of this material. Construction services included fill density testing and evaluation of foundation bearing soils, reinforcing steel, masonry, post-tensioned slabs, and wood framing for buildings.
