Overview
Luck’s Field Community Center is a newly constructed 30,000 sf community hub nestled in Richmond’s East End. Timmons Group partnered with Baskervill to lead the community engagement process for the project which included several community meetings and surveys that identified the needs of the neighborhood. The resulting master plan transformed Luck’s Field into a new multi-use space for community and civic services, recreation, and events.
Additional amenities proposed include expanding existing basketball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, playgrounds, and a picnic shelter. With the skyline as a backdrop, the new rooftop basketball court offers stunning views of downtown Richmond, providing a unique setting for active play and passive views of the sunset that users of all ages can enjoy.
