Overview
In partnership with Chesterfield County Public Schools, Chesterfield Parks and Recreation, and LDD Sports, Timmons Group provided civil engineering, surveying, bidding assistance, and construction administration services for the conversion of the football field from natural turf to synthetic turf at L.C. Bird High School. The synthetic turf field was designed and constructed with a shock pad, organic infill, breakaway netting system behind each endzone, new long/triple jump areas, and a new high jump area.
