Overview
Timmons Group’s services included civil engineering, site planning and development of preliminary maps for the new JSNN laboratory, which is located on the South Campus. The new JSNN Building is the signature building on the South Campus, and focuses on conducting nanotechnology research and development.
The Gateway University Research Park is being jointly developed by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and NC A&T State University. The Research Park will provide opportunities for faculty and private companies to collaborate on unique research and development opportunities. Timmons Group is collaborating with HDR who is the architect for the JSNN Building.
Timmons Group was involved in the original master planning of the 75-acre South Campus along with BJAC and Sasaki. Timmons Group recently completed work on the USDA Research Building One, also located on the South Campus.
