Overview
Harmony Place at Grier Heights is an affordable senior housing community in Charlotte, North Carolina. Located in the Grier Heights neighborhood, the 4-story project features 72 one- and two-bedroom apartments for seniors aged 55 and above, earning 50% to 60% of the area median income (AMI) or below.
Timmons Group began working on the project in 2017 for Laurel Street Residential, along with teaming partner Neighboring Concepts. Completed in 2020, Timmons Group provided civil engineering and surveying services for the apartment community. The site design included a stormwater management facility and a flood study to ensure compliance with the City’s Post Construction Stormwater Ordinance and Floodplain Development Ordinance.
