Overview
Under our Professional Survey and Engineering Services task order contract with George Mason University, Timmons Group developed stream restoration design plans and construction documents for a segment of Rabbit Branch located on the Fairfax Campus. The plans included the design of 320 linear feet of stream restoration located on the southern side of campus. This stream restoration project provided Phosphorous, Nitrogen, and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) removal credits to assist George Mason University in meeting the pollutant load reduction requirements set forth in their MS-4 permit and Chesapeake Bay TMDL Action Plan.
