Timmons Group completed a Phase I ESA of approximately 1.75 miles of former railroad easement located in the City of Durham, North Carolina in conjunction with a proposal for redevelopment of the easement as a greenway trail. Given the former railroad usage of the site, a Phase II ESA was recommended to evaluate the potential presence of metals concentrations by collecting semi-random surface soil samples along the railroad easement.
