Overview
Timmons Group has worked with Dominion Energy on multiple roof solar panel installation projects since May 2021. The structural team’s role in these projects is typically to assess the condition of the existing roof and proposed solar array layout to confirm whether the roof can handle the additional load. After summarizing these findings in a feasibility report for a Dominion building in Richmond, Virginia back in 2021, the company reached out to Timmons Group again for the same services at two fire stations in Norfolk in 2023.
