Overview

Dare County and College of the Albemarle (COA) replaced existing structures that were once part of the local public school system with a new 36,500 SF academic building. The new building was constructed on the same site as the COA Professional Arts facility in Manteo.

Timmons Group provided a topographical survey for the site in addition to civil and landscape design. The design includes demolition plans, parking lots, pedestrian circulation, an outdoor amphitheater and gathering plaza, fire, and domestic water services, a sewer main extension, as well as stormwater and erosion control.
