Overview
Avalaire is the Triangle region’s premier destination for luxury living. Located in the heart of North Raleigh just off Durant Road, Avalaire is minutes from the area’s best schools, fantastic restaurants and great shopping. Avalaire offers beautiful parks throughout the community, 25 percent of which is dedicated to the preservation of its natural resources. Two centuries-old oaks border the grand entrance, leading the way to 56 home sites in phase one, which range from three-fourths of an acre to just under three acres.
Timmons Group provided infrastructure design such as the roadway improvements, stormwater management design, septic analysis, design and layout, and the distribution network for a private AQUA water system. Due to the community being inspired by nature, featuring century old oak trees, park like settings, and trails adjacent to the City’s Natural Greenway Trails, Timmons Group’s designs required mindfulness to the preservation of existing heritage trees where practical.
Construction has been completed on Phase 1 of the project, which includes 56 homes spanning over 100 acres of land near the intersection of Durant Road and Honeycutt Road. With home prices starting at $1 million, the community is the first of its kind to come to North Raleigh in more than seven years.
The project was recently awarded “Best Marketing, Advertising or Branding Project for a Community” at the North Carolina Home Builders Association’s Annual STARS Awards Gala.
