Overview
Timmons Group assisted the project energy developer on this greenfield project located about 1.5 hours southeast of Denver, Colorado. The civil engineering support included transportation planning, public road improvements, 30%, 75%, 100% and IFC plan sets, multiple project walkdowns between civil plan set iterations, facilities grading plans, permitting support for DOT, Army Corp, county and NPDES, municipality coordination, nondestructive pavement analysis, construction phase support and weekly coordination. The site has moderate slopes and required a plan and profile for both public and private roads as well as individual pad grading for turbine sites in difficult terrain. The project consisted or 25 Vestas turbines and had a capacity of 104 MW.
