Overview
Anson 1 Solar is a 200 MW project located on over 2,200 acres in rural, central Texas whose power is being purchased by Microsoft. The project is traversed by U.S. Hwy. 83 and lies directly north of Anson, Texas. Timmons Group provided civil engineering design, flood mapping services using Flo-2d software and ALTA surveying services to support the utility scale solar project. Timmons originally worked with Coronal Energy until the project was sold to Engie North America. Timmons Group worked with both companies through the transaction and ultimately assisted in construction phase support and as-built surveying services.
