Picture This: Cardinal Commerce Center

Scannell Properties with teaming partners Timmons Group and Evans General Contractors planned and executed a design for the South facility at Cardinal Commerce Center in Hanover County, Virginia. The fast-tracked agreement was backed by the County’s latest industrial and economic development initiatives.

 

Cardinal Commerce Center South

 

Cardinal Commerce South is a 260,000 SF distribution facility with 272 car and 76 trailer spaces. The building features a TPO roof, clerestory windows, pre-finished gutters, and 32’ ceilings alongside accommodations specifically designed for industrial use including a 65’ concrete dock apron and 14’x16’ drive-in doors for trailers.

 

Cardinal Commerce Center South

 

The 112-acre Cardinal Commerce Center site will also be home to Performance Food Group’s recently announced 325,000 SF headquarters and main distribution hub in Richmond as well as another 186,900 SF spec industrial building. Significant site preparation for the future buildings was completed as part of the Cardinal South project allowing for rapid development.
