Overview
Timmons Group is providing land surveying and civil engineering services for the Balko Wind Energy Project in Beaver County, Oklahoma. The Timmons Group office in Charlottesville Virginia is within walking distance from the Apex Corporate Headquarters, which has allowed quick and responsive coordination as the project scope and layout have been refined. Seamless transfer of project data has also been a positive aspect of the project. Timmons Group has provided survey base mapping, easement and property surveys along with ALTA surveys. Design for new project roads and upgrades of existing public roads have been a large part of the engineering effort. Field visits in concert with Apex staff members were very productive in the project process. Timmons Group has worked to limit project costs and environmental impacts.
