Overview
The Hermitage at Cedarfield is a 75 acre, full service retirement community operated by the Virginia United Methodist Homes. The community offers a full range of living options, including individual cottages, independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, a healthcare facility and dementia unit. The large main building includes several apartments, a swimming pool, exercise facilities and a dining room that is open to all residents.
Timmons Group provided site design for a 580,165 square foot building, a club house, a future child care center, 85 individual detached dwellings and all associated parking and roads. Sitework included the conversion of an existing 2.5 acre pond to a stormwater management/water quality pond.
The site borders Deep Run Park and includes on-site trail systems that connecting the community to the park path system.
