Overview
Timmons Group collaborated with HKS Architects and Ripken Management and Design in the reconstruction of the “Babe Ruth” field in the RF&P Youth Baseball Stadium. The project created a tournament- quality venue that is inspired by the character of the classic baseball parks built in the early 1900’s. The design incorporates the historic RF&P railway, which carried passengers from Richmond to Washington, D.C. in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. This facility captures the traditional character of baseball and evokes an intimate experience of the game.
