Our #Richmond survey team is excited to show off their new ground-penetrating radar (GPR) survey device!
Unlike traditional small-scale units, this advanced system features a three-foot-wide base, allowing us to collect more data in a single pass. With 36-channel arrays scanning in two directions simultaneously, we can locate underground utilities faster and more accurately.
The system also uses AI-enhanced heat maps for clearer visualization and GPS integration for precise data collection. Its durable design even allows us to attach it to a Polaris, making large-area surveys, like football fields, quicker and more efficient.
This new technology helps us provide faster, more detailed subsurface utility mapping while keeping projects on schedule.

It`s official! @AlbemarleCountyPublicSchools (ACPS) broke ground on the Albemarle Career Exploration (ACE) Academy at its Lambs Lane campus 🏫
Expanding on ACPS` Scholar Studios program, the new 60,000-square-foot facility will house 6 of the 12 new Scholar Studios and serve up to 400 high school students daily. Designed to help students explore career opportunities that align with their interests, each studio focuses on a specific course of study and offers hands-on experience in those fields.
