Overview
UVA Credit Union is a 6-acre site located on Berkmar Drive along Interstate 64 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The new design features two plazas that include vibrant plantings, inviting walkways, and carefully crafted seating areas, creating a serene and welcoming environment for both clients and employees. Timmons group provided civil engineering, survey, and landscape architecture for the redesign of the existing UVA Credit Union Building.
The project features two distinct landscape enhancements; a dedicated space for employees that includes outdoor working stations, café tables, an amphitheater, pergolas, and planting to enhance the work environment. Additionally, a parking court and pedestrian plaza have been designed with seating, shade trees, and landscape accents while expanding parking for visitors and employees.
