Overview
Timmons Group provided comprehensive services for the transformation of the historic Mock Judson Voehringer Mill, a former silk hosiery plant built in 1927, into the modern MoJud Lofts in Greensboro, North Carolina. The redevelopment project, completed in 2023, included civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction administration services.
Situated in Lindley Park, the adaptive reuse of the mill preserved its historic character while integrating 173 apartments and a range of amenities, including a saltwater pool, fire pits, a dog park, a grilling patio with an outdoor dining area, and multiple pocket parks. Timmons Group worked closely with the City of Greensboro to address site constraints and ensure compliance with preservation standards, as the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
