Timmons Group is excited to announce that Kaitlyn Jenkins, a project engineer on our Richmond transportation team, has been named the WTS Central Virginia Chapter Member of the Year!
Kaitlyn’s expertise in roadway and hydraulic design, utility coordination, storm sewer systems, and pedestrian accommodations has contributed to the success of various VDOT and local projects. Her involvement with WTS demonstrates her dedication to both professional personal and growth, as well as her commitment to advancing women in the transportation industry.
“I enjoy volunteering with this organization because everyone is willing and excited to uplift and support each other. If someone needs help, the rest of the group is ready to assist. Everyone’s voices hold weight,” Kaitlyn said. “There’s a great culture of drawing attention to and celebrating each other’s successes and good ideas, whether it be within the team, our careers, or our personal lives.”
At last night’s awards ceremony and alongside Kaitlyn’s recognition, our team was acknowledged as the WTS Central Virginia Firm of the Year. Thank you to our colleagues at WTS for the recognition!
