Overview
Timmons Group performed Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture Services for a new 11,500 sf Youth Crisis Center for Monarch Health in Charlotte, NC. The facility was designed to provide around the clock treatment for at-risk Youth suffering from mental illness. We assisted the design team with the Conceptual Design in order to optimize the Site Layout as well as minimize construction costs. The site was planned to segregate staff from visitor parking and a secure outdoor recreation area was included at the rear of the building. Landscape and Hardscape Design was performed using native trees and
shrubs. A stormwater management study was completed in order to comply with the City’s Post Construction Stormwater Ordinance. The site was permitted through the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County and Construction Administration services were provided until final acceptance and occupancy.
