Maritime and Coastal Services at Timmons Group

Timmons Group’s coastal offices, including in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Elizabeth City, and Wilmington, offer a variety of marine-specific services in addition to the firm’s traditional solutions.

Survey is a common need of coastal and maritime operations. Timmons Group’s coastal surveying teams have extensive experience providing drydock, boundary, topographic, flood wall, ALTA, hydrographic, and waterfront surveys at docks, ports, shipyards, marinas, industrial yards, and other coastal properties.

Using the industry’s leading sensing drone, the Alta X, the firm’s remote sensing survey team can conduct 3D laser mapping of shoreline conditions, including calculations that monitor coastal erosion before or after inclement weather, and naval vessel conditions supported by Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) FAA permitting.

As maritime relations grow increasingly complex, technology solutions continue to rise in importance to support successful operations. Timmons Group’s technology teams are staying ahead of modern logistics needs with solutions for marine-based clients, including enterprise architecture for military operations and cloud management for port operations.
