Richmond, VA – January 18, 2022 – Timmons Group is pleased to announce the newest shareholders of the firm: Brian Copeland, PE, Assoc. DBIA; Luke Fetcho, PE, LEED AP; Kim Hamby, PE; Stephanie Herman; Jeff Hochanadel, PE, PTOE; Jason Mizelle, PLS; Greg Nelson, PE, LEED AP; and Marc Snider, PLS.
Brian Copeland, PE, Assoc. DBIA is a senior project manager on Timmons Group’s Richmond transportation design team where he manages a range of roadway improvement projects in accordance with VDOT. Brian has managed the designs of fully ADA accessible pedestrian / bicycle improvements, bridges and tunnels, traffic signals, innovative stormwater management practices, and public and private utility adjustments.
Luke Fetcho, PE, LEED AP is a senior project manager in Timmons Group’s Northern Virginia office, located in Ashburn. He has over a decade of experience in designing and leading design teams for land development projects for public and private clients in a variety of projects that range from emergency services, logistics sites, data centers, K-12, higher education, parks and recreation, department of corrections, and department of transportation.
Kim Hamby, PE is a project manager in Timmons Group’s Elizabeth City office. Kim has nearly three decades of engineering planning and design experience and has focused knowledge of the design and permitting processes for stormwater management, erosion control, water, sanitary sewer, and roadway improvements.
Stephanie Herman, CSM, CSPO, PMP is a senior project delivery manager at Timmons Group, providing custom geospatial solutions to clients across the country. Throughout her career, she has refined her experience in client management, business analysis, quality assurance, technical support, and project management. Stephanie is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Jeff Hochanadel, PE, PTOE is the Timmons Group’s Raleigh transportation engineering team leader. Jeff has over two decades of experience in traffic engineering design and analysis including, traffic signal / electrical wiring design, ITS design, traffic signal timings, capacity analysis, traffic impact analysis, traffic safety studies, data collection, traffic forecasting, feasibility studies, traffic management plans, and signing.
Jason Mizelle, PLS is a senior project manager at Timmons Group and a Licensed Professional Surveyor with more than two decades of experience in land development projects. Throughout his career, he has provided services ranging from boundary retracement, ALTA and topographic surveys, major subdivisions, commercial site plans, feasibility studies, environmental permitting, utility plans, and construction surveying.
Greg Nelson, PE, LEED AP is a senior project manager in Timmons Group’s Richmond public land development group. His experience includes site design and permitting for large public and private land development, design-build, and publicly bid projects. His responsibilities include site layout, grading, storm sewer and utility design, hydraulic analysis, stormwater management, project coordination and management.
Marc Snider, PLS manages the survey team at Timmons Group’s Raleigh office. He supervises boundary, topography, construction, Static and RTK GPS-control surveys, and sonar fathometer / RTK-GPS hydrographic surveys. Marc’s project experience includes topographic and route surveys in support of engineering projects, boundary surveys, ALTA / NSPS surveys, preparation of easement plats and construction layout of sites, buildings, utilities, roads, and bridges.
