Did you hear the recent news? It’s true, our Raleigh Water/Wastewater Team has grown tremendously in only the last 6 months! So far this year, Principal Chris Petree has welcomed three project engineers and a senior project manager to his team. I have had a great time getting to know Chris and his new team members the past few months. Last week, I was invited to join this awesome team for a group outing to get the scoop on what this they all like to do outside of work hours. It’s time to meet the Raleigh Water/Wastewater Team!
Christopher Petree, PE, DBIA
Principal
With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Military Institute, Chris has a natural desire to lead, strategize, and succeed. I’ve learned that he is proactive, energetic, and driven. He’s always been extremely kind and helpful when it comes to his team or people in another group that needs his input. He’s a leader that strives to bring the best out of everyone around him.
Fun Fact: When Chris isn’t working with his team, he is dedicated to spending time with his family! Otherwise, you can find him in a whitewater kayak or on his sailboat!
Daniel Peplinski, PE
Senior Project Manager
Dan is a senior project manager on the team. He has over two decades of experience in the water infrastructure field, making him a valuable asset to the team. He works closely with clients to understand their needs for the project and the design team to resolve those issues in an efficient manner.
Fun Fact: Dan is really enjoying getting to know his new teammates and the Timmons Group team!
Ashley Kabat, EI
Project Engineer
Ashley Kabat is an ambitious engineer who finds delight in working with a company that protects human health and also preserves the environment around us. Her varied professional backgrounds, passions, and motivations have prepared her for a robust career in engineering.
Fun Fact: Outside of Ashley’s professional career, she loves the outdoors or anything that has to do with nature! Whether it is backpacking, hiking, or even gardening, she is always looking something involving the outdoors.
Luke Solari, EI
Project Engineer
Meet Luke! Luke Solari is a seasoned engineer on the team. As a proactive individual, he found his interest in this field because he wanted to see the impact of his work in the physical world. His teammates highly respect him as no matter how busy he is, Luke always finds time to be a resource for his fellow teammates.
Fun Fact: In his free time, you’ll more than likely catch Luke in the outdoors! Ask Luke about disc golfing, I hear that he’s quite the expert at it! When not in the office, he’ll be a disc golf course!
Mallory Alman, EI
Project Engineer
Who is Mallory Alman you may ask? She’s a determined engineer that found her passion in water infrastructure after studying the impacts of a wastewater treatment plant during a summer program. Her love and compassion for the environment has propelled her to where she is today!
Fun Fact: When she’s not at work, Mallory loves to longboard and learn about different plants in the environment, or she’s probably off drinking obscene amounts of fruit juice. Literally.
Ariel Dornisch, EI
Project Engineer
Have you met Ariel Dornisch? She is a recent graduate from Mercer University with a master’s degree in engineering. To kick off her professional career, she joined Timmons Group as a eater infrastructure engineer. She’s a driven engineer who believes that project, no matter the size, makes an impact on the world for future generations.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, you can find Ariel at a museum looking through art and history or daydreaming about the mystery surrounding space. She finds space exploration and astronomy fascinating and star gazes whenever she can.
I found it fascinating to learn more about how this awesome team works together. I realized that they all have a lot of the same values, especially wanting to leave an impact on this world.
