The Town of Holly Springs, North Carolina’s main street was named the 2018 Great Main Street in the Making by the NC American Planning Association. Timmons Group was proud to be involved with the Holly Springs Town Hall Commons project, a 43,000 SF development, which adds a variety of new retail, restaurant, and commercial spaces to the downtown area.
Located in the heart of downtown, Timmons Group provided civil engineering and landscape architecture to the project. This unique project was the Town of Holly Springs first public private partnership developed in conjunction with the Trustwell Property Group.
The Town Hall Commons will add approximately 20 new businesses to the area and also include public parking and a center plaza.
Timmons Group worked closely with the owner and the Town of Holly Springs to provide a functional design that would promote pedestrian flow through the flex retail space and office building.
Pavers and concrete bands were utilized as the walking surface near the storefronts which is unique to the site and also adhered to and complimented the Town’s standards for sidewalks in the area.
