Timmons Group provided complete site planning and design including grading, stormwater, utilities, and landscape architecture for this new Mellow Mushroom in Brier Creek as part of this 13-acre, five-lot master development that will include other retail and commercial uses.

Construction began in 2018 on this 6,435 sf location with completion and restaurant opening in spring 2019. It is the first Mellow Mushroom for this franchisee and the sixth location in the Triangle. The design team also included Architecture, Inc.

A couple of interesting features are the large colorful mural, completed by a local artist, along one of the restaurant’s exterior walls and an outdoor patio with a fire pit and amenity area with a large Poseidon sculpture to the rear overlooking a large area of trees preserved for buffering of the adjacent properties. Mellow Mushroom encourages the incorporation of community art with each new location.
