Picture This: Jefferson Scholars Foundation Cochran House

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation (JSF) Cochran House is an elegant three-story, 5,800 square-foot home with four guest bedrooms and a full family suite along with a parlor, study, outdoor terrace, and garden. The House is located adjacent to the Foundation’s administrative building on Clarke Court.

The JSF supports exceptional students at the University of Virginia by offering premier fellowships and scholarships. JSF promotes extraordinary performance in areas of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship.

The JSF opened the Cochran House in September 2019 with a ribbon cutting ceremony, reception, house tour, and a private dinner. The House will serve as a retreat for distinguished guests of the Foundation and the University of Virginia.

In late 2016, Timmons Group worked with Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects to begin the development of the Master Plan and Site Plan for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation’s Cochran House in Charlottesville. Timmons Group also provided surveying services.
