Picture This: Long Loft Apartments

Formerly known as the Rogers & Madison Trunk Factory and Long Manufacturing factory, this old building is one of the latest to be transformed into loft apartments. Petersburg residents may still be able to recognize the iconic painted brick exterior, but the interior has been completely renovated into 62 loft-style units.

In 2016-2017, Timmons Group provided services for an Apartment Site Plan reusing an existing warehouse and a new 82-space parking lot. In addition to the site plan services, Timmons Group performed a survey of the 2-acre site.

Renovations and construction were led by Jordan Properties. This project was scheduled to start in January 2016, and the first residents were able to move in by June 2017.

Long Lofts retains its namesake as an homage to Long Manufacturing, a hardware company, which occupied the building for 65 years before closing its doors in 1995.
