A Little History:
Amelia celebrated her 10 year anniversary at Timmons Group last June. She specializes in urban infill and redevelopment projects, neighborhood improvement projects, as well as stormwater management design and compliance. Much of her work, outside of designing and preparing construction plans, involves stakeholder coordination and work sessions, representation at public meetings, and providing construction support services.

In addition to working with local government, private entity, and higher education clients, Amelia has developed a passion for urban design projects that help strengthen the urban core here in the City of Richmond. Amelia now leads Timmons Group’s Urban Practice, a group that utilizes all of Timmons Group’s in-house services to collaborate on projects that help the City grow and improve.

Commercial Coffee
Amelia also plays a large role in innovation and business development for the firm as well as leadership within the industry community. One of her many leadership responsibilities involves coordinating Commercial Coffee, a monthly networking event for members of the commercial real estate industry that features new projects in the Greater Richmond Metropolitan area. Amelia locates the venues each month, coordinates event sponsorship, coordinates the speakers, and attends the event monthly to cultivate and grow relationships for the firm. The monthly networking event maintains attendance between 75-100 people per month.
