Cal Ripken Senior Foundation hired Timmons Group to be the lead engineering and surveying consultant for all of their youth baseball projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Timmons Group provided site civil engineering, environmental, landscape, lighting and survey services for the Princess Anne Little League complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The existing property is being leased from the City of Virginia Beach and encompasses approximately 28.6 acres. When complete, the project will include 4 fields; the showcase field (a replica of Wrigley Field), one high school field, one softball field and one field for t-ball/challenger play. Some of the fields will utilize synthetic turf with underdrain systems.

Timmons Group worked closely with the various stakeholders involved in this development (Princess Anne Little League, the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and the City of Virginia Beach) to develop an aesthetically pleasing and functional complex for the community.
